DETROIT – An experienced executive with background in various Jewish organizations and the founder and operator of her own business for 25 years has been named the new Executive Director of the Michigan Israel Business Bridge, which facilitates business and investment between Michigan and Israel for their mutual economic benefit.

She is Pamela Lippitt of Southfield, who most recently was executive director of the Zionist Organization of America for the Michigan Region, and earlier was Central Region Director of the United Synagogue of America (now the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. She founded her own business, Mail-Eze, a direct mail services business, and has operated it since 1986.

“Pam is a great addition to our team of people engaged in the MIBB and working with Israeli and Michigan-based companies to help build new markets and grow businesses,” said Chuck Newman, chairman of ReCellular, the world’s leading collector, reseller and recycler of used cell phones and accessories, and founder of the MIBB along with Susan Herman of Lansing.

“My community involvement with numerous Jewish and other groups can be a solid benefit for the MIBB as we move into a new phase of growth for the businesses we serve in Israel and the Michigan region,” Lippitt said.
