LANSING – Matthew Hill, Founder and CEO of Liquid Web, a Web hosting and Data Center company, was honored by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year for the Michigan & Northwest Ohio region Thursday night.
Hill will now compete against the other regional award winners for the prestigious honor of Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur Of The Year.
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year is the world?s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. Recognized globally, the award honors the most outstanding entrepreneurs who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. Eight Michigan entrepreneurs received Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards Thursday night at The Henry in Dearborn.
Liquid Web is a privately held managed web hosting company founded in 1997, with three wholly owned data center facilities located in Lansing. In 2010 Liquid Web opened a software development office in Scottsdale, Arizona. Liquid Web has more than 20,000 clients served in over 120 countries.
