DETROIT – The Michigan Council of Women in Technology will host a panel discussion on June 12 that will feature professionals who have successfully taken a chance in their careers.

?Making the Leap?Taking on New Challenges in Challenging Times,? is part of the MCWT ConnectNet Forum series. These women will relay factors contributing to their decisions and feedback from their experience.

?There are many reasons to shift careers or change something significant about your current path,? said Pam Hansen, moderator of the MCWT panel and principal of Resilience Organization Consulting. ?Maybe your life situation changed, you crave excitement your current role does not allow, or perhaps you want to renew your commitment in a different way. This session enables attendees to reflect on the choices and perspectives from others who have made major career transitions.?
