ANN ARBOR – MichBio is launching a new biopartnering service as a benefit to our members.

Many companies, especially emerging ones, don’t have the resources to attend every licensing/business development and partnering meeting. So we’ve teamed up with our Preferred Provider, Pharmacision, to launch a FREE biopartnering service to our

member companies for the BIO Business Forum at the upcoming 2011 BIO International Convention in Washington, DC.

MichBio and Pharmacision are ready to represent your company and product/technology portfolio needs. The biopartnering service will provide an efficient and cost-effective means to represent you with potential collaborators in your field. BIO’s Business Forum draws key players from big pharma and biotech that allow companies an opportunity to explore deals and license agreements.

Using our “golden rolodex” of licensing and business development contacts, along with the match-making power of the BIO Business Forum, MichBio/Pharmacision will establish face-to-face meetings with key industry representatives and make the case for your company.

Any MichBio member company/organization is eligible to participate in the biopartnering service at no cost if you are looking to in- or out-license/partner the following:

? Therapeutic or consumer healthcare products in pre-clinical and clinical development

? Diagnostic products

? Platform technologies

Here’s how it works:

1. You must become a MichBio member – join online at www.michbio.org/join-michbio-today.

2. Once your eligibility is confirmed, fill out the attached form and send it back to us ASAP at [email protected].

3. Your information will be reviewed and a free 2-hour, face-to-face meeting scheduled to go over your product and/or technology portfolio needs.

4. We’ll list available products/technologies from our member companies on MichBio’s online profile at the BIO Business Forum, and begin to schedule meetings during the BIO Convention.

5. MichBio/Pharmacision will report back to you on our efforts and outcomes either during the BIO Convention (if you plan attend) or immediately thereafter, and help you decide on next steps.
