LANSING – Unable to reach an agreement on legislation restructuring Michigan’s utility and energy regulation, the House has cancelled its scheduled session for Wednesday.

Also cancelled is the conference committee meeting on HB 5524 , the bill that would oversee the main utility regulation proposal.

Also up in the air still is SB 213 that would deal with establishing renewal energy requirements.

Discussions are still ongoing on the issue, but the earliest action could take place now is August 27.
