LANSING – On a vote of 106-3, the Michigan House on Wednesday approved a nearly $27 million supplemental budget that will fund land acquisition and development projects under the Natural Resources Trust Fund.
The full House acted on SB 780 after the House Appropriations Committee reported the bill unanimously.
The revenue in the bill is the earnings from the Natural Resources Trust Fund, and will be used to fund 32 land acquisition projects and 44 land development projects.
The acquisition projects would be funded with $19 million. Of those projects, 23 will be in local areas.
The 44 development projects, 39 are local, will get $8.6 million.
