On June 4 at noon Learn about IT job demand in Michigan from Workforce

Intelligence Network Executive Director Lisa Katz. She will discuss in this

webinar emerging opportunities in IT and provide strategies to position

yourself for these roles. The session also will discuss how to leverage

resources and partners in the public sector.

The

Workforce Intelligence Network of Southeast Michigan is a consortium of seven

Michigan Works! Agencies and nine community colleges formed to create a comprehensive

talent system. Katz draws on years of experience working on the formation

and implementation of talent-led community transformation efforts, including

strategies to support job creation, help firms and workers move from declining

to growing industry sectors, and enhance workforce-investment system

effectiveness.

Katz has a

bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University’s James Madison College and a

master’s degree from the University of Michigan’s Ford School of Public
