GRAND RAPIDS – The pace has quickened with the collaboration between the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center and Precept Partners to help Michigan small businesses optimize the design, infrastructure and technology that support a process for building and marketing high performance websites.
The MI-SBTDC and Precept Partners established a collaboration to assist Michigan companies improve their Internet presence?and grow profits. The collaboration does this by engaging MI-SBTDC clients in a 10-Point Site Evaluation analysis.
The iNet Logic Ten-Point Site Evaluation employs Precept?s proprietary iNet Logic System to give the MI-SBTDC client an independent analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of their website and its associated online presence, specific to site design, navigation, usability, functionality, and site coding errors.
Also included in the Ten-Point Site Evaluation are external, inferred visitor demographics information, external in-bound web linking infrastructure details, server response time/web code page load time comparisons and other data requisite to create competitive advantage and maximize a site?s efficiency and conversion.
Upon completion of data gathering and filtering processes?about a two week timeframe, Precept delivers the Ten-Point Site Evaluation in an online webinar conference and presentation with the MI-SBTDC consultant to the client, where the details and strategic implications of the evaluation is explained. Nancy Boese, the MI-SBTDC Business Tools Specialist, noted that ?Precept Partners is a great example of an existing Michigan business helping new entrepreneurs and other existing small businesses increase sales, create jobs, and increase their overall chances for success.?
Precept Partners is an Internet design, technology and marketing services company, which uses its unique ?iNet Logic? suite of products and services to deliver value to their customers. ?Over the last decade our team has been instrumental in generating well over a hundred million dollars in online sales revenue across multiple industry groups. In that process, we’ve dealt with many of the complex issues that companies of all sizes encounter as they grow their online business.? said Stephen Antisdel, the company’s Managing Partner.
?We came to an early understanding of search engines, (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc), as the de facto ?operating system? of the web. Based on this perspective, we’ve developed a proven logic system for designing and operating e-commerce and lead generation websites with very strong metrics. Our process balances hundreds of internal site design and architecture data points calibrated to meet each client’s strategy, resources and objectives. With iNet Logic, we can systematically take them from where they’re at now (online), to where they need to go, in a controlled, step-by-step process.
?Developing successful web properties that generate strong levels of ?conversion? is an incredibly complex task,? added Jeffrey Antisdel, the company’s Director of Information Technology. ?Precept’s iNet Logic System process starts with a business and technology research and analysis phase. Our findings influence the design and architecture of the site to maximize usability, while presenting as many sales conversion opportunities as possible.?
?On a post-launch basis, for websites focused on lead generation or e-commerce, Precept guides a phased deployment of marketing services. These activities extend site targeting, reach and frequency elements with a carefully balanced mix of search engine marketing, ongoing search engine optimization, email list management, data feed marketing, video deployments, blogs, social networks and more,? Antisdel said.
Concurrent with iNet Logic Systems implementation, Precept also provides clients with a wide variety of consulting services for mitigating potential impediments to growth while providing guidance for managing the problems related to rapid growth business models.
Stephen Antisdel, the company?s managing partner noted ?We appreciate what the MI-SBTDC is doing to help grow small businesses in Michigan; we?re pleased to work with their consultants providing website analysis and recommendations for their clients. The diversity of clients presented by the MI-SBTDC to us for assistance is amazing. Despite this business complexity, Stephen continued, the enthusiasm and passion held by the business owners about their business remains constant and is encouraging to see.?
