MIDLAND – The MidMichigan Innovation Center is accepting applications for exhibitors, innovators & entrepreneurs to join MidMichigan Innovators: Heading to the Big Leagues. The event is scheduled for February 4th. But the deadline for exhibitor applications is January 16, 2009.
The event is presented by MMIC and the Dow Chemical Company and will be held inside Dow Diamond, in Midland.
For this special event, the concourse at Dow Diamond will be transformed to a technology and innovation showcase for promising and successful companies from around the mid-Michigan region. With a broad array of attendees, MMIC�??s inaugural event will provide 40 exhibitors the opportunity to display and demonstrate their innovative products to potential investors and key business, community, and political leaders.
In addition to the exhibits, event organizers welcome Bill Banholzer, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer from Dow, an outstanding keynote speaker who will address attendees and focus on the significance of supporting economic development, innovation and small business. Additionally at the event, organizers will recognize individuals and organizations contributing to the growing support network for innovators and entrepreneurs in the mid-Michigan region. Prior to the main program, a pre-event VIP reception will be held in the suite lobby area of Dow Diamond. Tickets for the VIP reception are available for $100 or event-only tickets for $50.
