WARREN ? MITechNews.Com has been named one of 100 recipients of the BEST of michbusiness Awards to be presented by the Michigan Business and Professional Association at the Athenaeum Suites Hotel November 18.

Winners will be honored in grand style at the michbusiness Award?s version of the Oscars. Nearly 100 honorees in various categories will be recognized. The entire business community is welcome to attend this inaugural event.

Award categories cover the many varieties of companies, organizations and individuals who are remaking Michigan.

From education excellence to manufacturing inspiration, from the stellar startups to the CPAs who help guide them, from nonprofit beacons to technology gurus to the champions who support all of them ? the categories recognize the companies, the organizations and the individuals who are making a significant impact on Michigan?s economy both now and into the future.

There will also be four award winners announced at the event. For three of awards, the MBPA is asking the public and participants to vote on the winners. The three award categories include:

MichBusiness Champion of the Year ? Small Company (Under 50), the category in which MITechNews.Com competes.

MichBusiness Champion of the Year ? Mid Size Company (50-250)

MichBusiness Champion of the Year ? Large Business (250+)

Anyone can vote for their Champion online at lick on michbusiness.com/vote until November 12. These winners will be announced at the event.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will feature local foods in a strolling dinner, serious networking and a gala awards ceremony held in a luxurious theatre-style auditorium. ?The Best of michbusiness is the most exciting and connected business awards and networking opportunity in the state. The event is dedicated to one thing — recognizing those companies and individuals that make Michigan a great place to do business,? said Jennifer Kluge, MBPA president and CEO.
