SOUTHFIELD – The Engineering Society of Detroit has become the latest technology group in Michigan to partner with the new co-branded eNewsletter published by MITechNews.Com and WJR 760 AM’s Internet Advisor.
The engineering group will post ads in the Weekly Tech News Update while MITechNews.Com and WJR?s Internet Advisor will do the same in EDS?s various publications, which go to about 16,000 engineers primarily in Southeast Michigan. MITechNews.Com also has agreed to publish news and events listings for ESD to promote the organization to its readers and listeners.
?This is an outstanding way for MITechNews.Com to improve the depth of its technology news for all its readers and now listeners through our podcasts and radio segments,? said MITechNews.Com Editor & Publisher Mike Brennan. ?We?ll be able to also promote ESD in our digital eNewsletter, on MITechNews.Com?s web site, and at Internet Advisor?s home page.?
The Internet Advisor is a long running two-hour live news program that airs each Saturday from 4 to 6 pm on WJR, one of the most powerful radio stations in the Midwest, heard in parts of five states. MITechNews.Com?s Brennan does a 5-minute live tech news update each week at about 4:50 pm. Both Internet Advisor and the MITechNews.Com Update are available on-demand as podcasts. Plus the show is heard in five other markets on the Michigan Talk Radio Network.
“We’re very excited about our new partnership with MITechNews.Com and WJR?s Internet Advisor,? said Della Cassia, ESD Director of Communications. ?We hope it will serve as a conduit for timely and relevant information about science and technology in Michigan.”
