MITechNews.Com is a web portal site that features stories, information and events listings about Michigan technology companies and technology entrepreneurs. Mitechnews.Com is owned by Michigan News Network, a corporation that has been based in Grand Rapids, but will be shifting its corporate headquarters to Ann Arbor in September, to get closer to the state?s technology cluster in Southeast Michigan.
“We’re excited to expand and provide more news on Michigan’s growing technology industry. Many of our readers are working on technology startups, and can benefit from this collaboration,” said Amanda Lewan Editor of Michipreneur.
Lewan started Michipreneur to grow and connect the Michigan startup community by creating a dedicated platform for all entrepreneurs. The website publishes news, resources, upcoming events, and hosts a directory of over startups to help connect and grow the community. She is also the Co-founder of Bamboo Detroit, a community of more than 50 entrepreneurs working together in Downtown Detroit.
Lewan hold’s a Bachelor’s in Professional Writing from Michigan State University and a Master’s in English from Wayne State University. Her work has been featured in local and national publications including The Nation, Crain’s Business Detroit, The Detroit News, and many others.
