TROY ? The Money Finders has negotiated close to $2 million in private equity funding for the Michigan-based developer of a high-efficiency wastewater treatment system that promises low processing costs combined with important environmental advantages.
This new patent-protected system dramatically improves upon a time-tested and widely used technology called the modified rotating biological contactor, or MRBC. It employs no chemicals, but, instead, uses nature?s own principles to biodegrade and remove organic compounds and biological contaminants 250 to 300 percent as efficiently as thousands of conventional MRBC treatment systems in current use.
The new treatment system produces no odors. It requires no lagoons, but is self-contained. Compared to conventional treatment plants, it processes up to three times a given volume of wastewater in a physically smaller plant, operates quietly, requires less electrical energy, does not need technically skilled support, and costs about one-eighth as much to operate and maintain. This new system is so thorough that processed water can be discharged directly onto the ground or into waterways. The developer says that with tertiary treatment, discharged water can be clean enough to drink or even to bottle and sell.
This new wastewater treatment system is infinitely scaleable. It can be sized to service individual homes, or subdivisions, shopping malls, institutions such as hospitals and universities, or entire municipalities.
With the equity funding negotiated by the Money Finders, the developer expects to finalize engineering, and then assemble and install up to six operating systems by December. His firm is receiving requests from across the U.S. and around the world to bid on new and upgraded multi-million dollar wastewater treatment plants.
The Money Finders, Inc. helps startup and early-stage enterprises find the funding needed to propel products and services from concept to marketplace. It introduces qualified investors to pre-screened opportunities for participating in new and established growth-targeted businesses.
In both cases, the objective is to open doors for entrepreneurs and investors to potentials for creating wealth that otherwise might go unrealized.
