YPSILANTI ? The New Enterprise Forum celebrates its 25th anniversary Feb. 17 at the Eastern Michigan University Student Center with a gala to showcase the top elevator pitches, the volunteer coaching teams who improved their pitch-power, the service providers who assisted their entrepreneurial endeavors, and the meeting sponsors and volunteers who worked behind the scenes to support NEF and the community’s entrepreneurs.
Since NEF was founded in 1986, it has featured 320 Showcase Presentations. Those entrepreneurs were encouraged by hundreds of coaches and there were hundreds more volunteers in the background – board members and stakeholders and other supporters ? working to keep NEF alive and well.
It is also the annual award night for Best Presentation, Technology and Business Model. We?ll hear from the NEF Entrepreneur of the Year ? Farnam Jahanian of Arbor Networks, and from special awardees Tom Porter and Dick Sarns.
