ANN ARBOR – Join the New Enterprise Forum July 26 to hear from a special panel of entrepreneurs who have taken a new look at products, services, and technologies in our everyday world. A fun and inspiring program for entrepreneurs and wannabe’s.

Panelists:

Brad Alan, Founder of Switcheels

Alan is commercializing a new design of women?s shoe that converts between high and low heel, eliminating the need to carry two pair. They have completed final designs; have a working prototype, mold pricing and web site.

Bradley J. Foster, Founder of SparkForce

Foster started off like most 4- and 5-year-olds with the typical lemonade stand, moving then to lawn mowing and snow shoveling, and finally to his first major business: Spark Force, a computer sales and repairs company that he founded at age 12; it has now grown throughout the Metro Detroit area. Now at the ripe old age of 22, Foster also owns a hotel, bar, & restaurant in Southern Costa Rica, a restaurant in Northern Michigan, a water sports camp, a finance company, a real estate investment firm, and a luxury adventure travel agency.

Jordan Silverman, Co-Founder of Star Toilet Paper

Silverman?s company prints advertisements and/or coupons on toilet paper for client advertisers, and then sells the product to high-volume venues such as stadiums, etc. Star TP launched this past fall, has a dozen advertisers, two venues carrying the product, and was an award winner in the Spring 2012 GLEQ Business Plan Competition.

Moderator: Jesse Bernstein, Serial Entrepreneur, Consultant, and Non-Profit Leader

Bernstein has been an entrepreneur from the get-go of his long career (mental health care, human resources, start-up management teams), even though he has also ?dabbled? as a consultant, investor, and non-profit leader (Ann Arbor Area Regional Chamber CEO and, presently, Ann Arbor Transportation Authority Board Chair). Jesse is quoted as saying he?s ?tried retirement but hasn?t managed to stay retired for long.? And so it goes with entrepreneurs….
