DETROIT – NextEnergy will host a conference on March 22 that will focus on driving technologies, fuels and funding for cleaner air.

The Michigan Clean Fleet Conference is a one-day event aimed at educating fleet managers on how to address current environmental and energy challenges by incorporating new technologies and alternative fuels into their operations.

The conference will feature multiple panel discussions focusing on the various strategies, fuels and technologies available in the marketplace to assist fleets in conserving fuel, decreasing emissions and saving money. There will be networking opportunities with technology vendors, government officials and fleet mangers.

The Michigan Clean Fleet Conference is presented by NextEnergy, the EPA Region 5 Midwest Clean Diesel Initiative, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the State of Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth-Energy Office.

It is scheduled for March 22 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the NextEnergy Center at 461 Burroughs, Detroit.
