DETROIT ? NextEnergy and Michigan i-Corps is hosting an Energy and Transportation program in May that provides commercialization training for university, national lab researchers, and early-stage technology developers designed as a springboard for moving new ideas out of the lab and into the market. The deadline to apply is March 31.
NextEnergy and the University of Michigan Center for Entrepreneurship will be hosting the program ? bringing world-class teachers, industry and investor partners, and an extensive entrepreneurial network to your fingertips.
The program will give you and your team:
Exposure and networking to industry, investors, and the federal government, including:
GM Ventures, The Department of Energy, Ford Motor Company, DTE Energy, Dow Corning, General Dynamics Land Systems, Navitas Systems, Arsenal Venture Partners, Huron River Ventures, Invest Detroit, Denso Corp., and Bedrock Management.
Tools and skills that will better prepare you for grant applications, funding opportunities, licensing, and company creation.
Mastery of the customer discovery process, which will help you investigate the commercial potential of your technology and build the right business model by putting you directly in touch with customers.
