ANN ARBOR – The Great Lakes Entrepreneur’s Quest has added Robert Skandalaris to its board of directors. Skandalaris founded Noble International, the largest supplier of laser-weld blanks and structural tube components to the auto industry.

GLEQ is a statewide business plan competition and training program for entrepreneurs.

Skandalaris believes strongly in the value of education and the

need to support entrepreneurship in the United States. As a result, he

maintains a foundation that grants scholarships to middle school, high

school and college students. To date, approximately 500 scholarships have

been granted. Skandalaris also helped to establish the Skandalaris

Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Washington University in St. Louis,

which has been recognized as one of the top entrepreneurship programs in

the country.<.p>

He joins seven other GLEQ board members:
