GRAND RAPIDS ? Keith Brophy, president of NuSoft Solutions, will offer his annual technology forecast Feb. 20 at DeVos Place. The program is hosted by aimWest.
Each February, aimWest, the former GLIMAWest, provides business professionals with a look ahead at technology trends that will impact community, business, and lives. Brophy leads this interactive event that serves as both a fun and informative gathering of business and technology professionals from West Michigan and beyond.
Join us, as Brophy travels forward in time to observe upcoming tech trends. Brophy will comment on technology observed, including a focus on trends, impacts and social implications of web technology, sophisticated mobile device technology, pervasive information display technology, driverless cars, home health care telemedicine and robotics, and other areas.
Audiences have steadily grown over the years of this annual event, so this year the event is moving to a new venue – the Devos Place – to accommodate the growing audience and the growing aimWest organization.
“Michigan’s tough economic times will be overshadowed by our area’s promising future at this event, with the buzz of forward progress of Michigan enterprises in the air,? said aimWest marketing director Kim Bode.
This year’s event will feature several other “event firsts” in addition to the Devos Center venue. Grand Rapids Mayor George Heartwell will make introductory remarks.
The event will take place from 5:45 to 7:30 pm on February 20th at the Devos Center, with a 5:45 pm mixer, followed by the Mayor’s introduction and Brophy’s speech at 6:30. An open reception will be held on the 4th floor of the BOB immediately following the event.
The event is free for aimWest members. $20 for non-members (cash or check). To register online, click on aimWest.Org
