GRAND RAPIDS – Creative Byline, which uses proprietary software to match up people who write books and publishers who buy them, has appointed Keith Brophy, President of NuSoft Solutions, to its Board of Directors.
Brophy heads up Client Services & Solutions for NuSoft Solutions, a Microsoft National Systems Integrator and one of the leading Microsoft consulting companies in the country specializing in the design and implementation of the latest technologies and software solutions.
?Keith is a key addition,? said Creative Byline CEO Brad MacLean. ?His experience in technology business development and his extensive entrepreneurial and software industry experience will provide strategic depth to Creative Byline?s Board of Directors.?
Brophy started developing software solutions based on Internet technologies in the mid-1980s. Since then he has served in various leadership capacities in the software industry, been entrepreneur / owner of technology firms, and served on a number of economic development boards such as SBTDC, WIRED and others.
?This is an exciting time for me to join Creative Byline?s Board of Directors,? said Brophy. ?Creative Byline?s leading edge concept is going to streamline the front-end of the publishing process. A number of years ago I was an author of software technology books so I can identify with the market need that Creative Byline is addressing. This is the right business at the right time based on maturing web models.?
Creative Byline matches writers and publishers by using a web-enabled, database-driven tool.
