SOUTHFIELD – The second annual Tech x 2 Expo = LTU + OU, a joint career expo of Oakland University and Lawrence Technological University, will be held on the Lawrence Tech campus Sept. 30.
Employers seeking college students majoring in engineering, computer science and technology disciplines will have the opportunity to meet a wide variety of undergraduates and recent graduates from two Oakland County institutions that attract top students in these fields from around the region.
The expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Ridler Field House on Lawrence Tech�??s campus, 21000 West Ten Mile Road, Southfield. Employers may also register to participate in on-site interviews following the Expo from 2:30 to 5:00 pm. in the Buell Management Building.
More than 40 employers have already registered, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, DENSO International America, Ford Motor Company, Federal-Mogul Corp., R.L. Polk & Company and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
To register, companies should click on LTU.Edu/Career_Services and click on the employer icon. Companies already on CareerQuest should visit the Lawrence Tech site and log on to their accounts. The registration fee for employers is $250.
