ROCHESTER – Oakland University’s School of Education and Human Services is accepting applications for its distance learning Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in Educational Leadership. The 36-credit post-master’s degree prepares individuals as principals and central office administrators. Classes begin on January 6.
Approved by the Michigan Department of Education as a principal preparation program, the distance learning specialist in leadership is designed for K-12 school administrators, teacher leaders and directors. All courses are delivered online, focusing on practical application and action research. Up to 28 credits of the Ed.S. program may be applied toward OU’s Ph.D. in Education.
Recognized by the National Policy Board for Educational Administration and the National Association of Secondary School Principals, OU’s program delivers both quality and convenience. Classes are taught by faculty and practitioners with extensive experience as school leaders.
