TROY – Award

finalists for the Automation Alley 15th Annual Awards Gala have been selected, and

online voting will be open to the public until Sept. 18 to help determine a

winner in each of five categories.

Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association,

celebrates Southeast Michigan’s thriving tech economy each year at its awards

gala, an event that consistently draws some of the region’s most influential

leaders in business, government and academia.

Finalists are chosen from a list of nominees in each award category, and an

online voting process contributes to the final selection of winners.

“The awards gala is one of my favorite Automation Alley traditions,” said

Automation Alley Executive Director Ken Rogers. “It’s a night devoted to those

who are driving the tech economy in this region, and their stories are never

short of inspiring. It continues to be my honor to recognize the talent and

innovation rooted right here in Southeast Michigan.”

The Automation Alley 15th Annual Awards Gala will be at the Royal Park Hotel in

Rochester, Mich. on Oct. 2. The event includes gourmet dinner, an after-party

featuring the S3 Cigar Patio, a craft beer tasting bar featuring select Atwater

Brewery beers, live entertainment, and the newly added “Innovation Alley,” a

rare collection of technology artifacts from the Detroit Historical

Society.

The price to attend the 15th Annual Awards Gala is $200 per person for members

and finalists, $275 perperson for non-members, or $1,750 for a table of

10. To purchase tickets, visitautomationalley.com/awardsgala,
