Patina, a national professional services consulting company, has come to metropolitan Detroit. Managing Partner Jennifer Johnson said Patina is hired by companies that need specific professional services on a shorter-term basis.
?We?re not a temporary agency firm,? Johnson said. ?We compete with the Big 4 consulting firms. Projects and interim placements are the majority of our businesses.?
Johnson added: ?We are not looking to fill a butt in a seat. Patina is responsible for that project. Our professionals are W-2 employees of Patina. Our clients contract through us with Patina professionals. Or we place an interim CIO, CFO, or CEO in a company, or, longer term, as a candidate for a C position.?
Patina is indifferent across industries and functions, she said. The largest percentage of Patina employees are experts in finance. Patina serves companies of different sizes and industries from offices in Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago, Boston, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Tampa, Minneapolis – and now Detroit.
Johnson said Detroit has a full-staff of seven, but she is looking to hire many more talented pros in southeast Michigan and from around the state who want to work on a variety of projects and assignments.
