TROY ? Cloud ERP provider Plex Systems has been on a tremendous growth curve for the past few years outgrowing its two buildings in Auburn Hills. On Oct. 24, Plex dedicated its new corporate headquarters in Troy, where execs occupy the 14th floor of 900 Tower Drive.
On hand were hundreds of customers, dignataries and politicians who sampled cocktails, hors d?oeuvres and toured the stylish office space.
?This is an exciting year in the history of the company,? said Plex Systems President and CEO Mark Symonds. ?We are so successful helping manufacturers operate more efficiently and profitably that we can create a lot of really great jobs, many of which are in Michigan. We expect the trend to continue as we expand into new markets and serve the growing community of Plex Online users.”
The new facility houses members of the management, marketing, sales, human resources, accounting and IT services groups ? approximately 60 people. At 108,500 square feet, the new space can accommodate approximately 500 people.
Plex employs about 300 people now, and Symonds said the company expects to hire nearly 90 this year. Some 23 have been hired in the last month.
Openings exist in marketing, accounting, engineering. The company offers great benefits, including tuition reimbursement which was launched this week.
