ANN ARBOR ? Mahendra Ramsinhani, former Director of Venture Capital Initiatives at the Michigan Economic Development Corp., is now senior advisor to Plymouth Venture Partners.

As Senior Advisor, Ramsinhani will be involved in all aspects of early and growth stage investments, including adding value to the existing investment portfolio at Plymouth Venture Partners.

“PVP is pleased to welcome Mahendra to the team,” said PVP Chairman Ian Bund. “Mahendra has played an instrumental role in the growth of the venture capital industry in Michigan.”

Ramsinhani for seven years was the Director of Venture Capital Initiatives at

the MEDC, where he participated in the design of two fund of fund programs, managed four LP investments and supported the development of angel networks in Michigan. He also served as a board member and was one of the founding members of the Michigan Venture Capital Association.

Prior to MEDC, Mahendra was Product Manager for iSoftel, Singapore where he

led its business growth in the Pacific Rim & wrote its first business plan. Prior to

iSoftel, Mahendra led Business Development for ALCOA Closure Systems

International in India. Mahendra has an MBA and Bachelors in Electronics

Engineering from Pune University, India.

PVP was formed to bring together experienced investors for

the purpose of screening, reviewing and funding investment opportunities in

private companies.
