DETROIT – Publius and the League of Women Voters of Michigan announced today the launch of the Publius Voter Guide for the November 4 election. Publius.org remains Michigan’s most informative online voter education guide. This partnership brings together the technology of Publius with the experience of League of Women Voters of Michigan.
At Publius.Org Michigan voters can find:
Individualized ballot information, including salaries for many
Offices
Candidate information, including campaign websites and video clips
LWV candidate survey responses
Voter registration status and maps to polling locations
NEW Publius e-cards to encourage friends, family and colleagues to
Vote
Publius.org is a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization
founded in 1996 to explore the impact of the Internet on democracy and
develop web-based tools to enhance the exchange of ideas and information.
Publius was the first statewide website in the country to allow voters to check their registration.
