MIDLAND ? The MidMichigan Innovation Center is hosting a lively discussion March 15 on the importance of Reading Your Market. Mark Groulx, President and founder of Falcon Road Maintenance Equipment, will share his thoughts on creating an unfair competitive advantage. The lunch event starts at 11:30 p.m.

Falcon manufactures Asphalt Recyclers that enable road repairs (utility cuts, patches, potholes) to be performed with recycled asphalt. Over the past three years, Falcon has been the fastest growing manufacturer in the state of Michigan as well as the fastest growing road maintenance equipment manufacturer in the U.S. Falcon’s growth rate has earned it a place on the Inc. Magazine 2010 “Fast 5,000 List as one of the fastest growing businesses in the United States.

After a 16-year career at Dow Corning in business development, Mark served as Chief Operating Officer of Herman Miller, as well as President and CEO of Trendway — both Holland, Michigan based office furniture companies. Mark also led the start-up of Prince Manufacturing, a contract manufacturer owned by Erik Prince, founder of Blackwater, a private military security company.
