YPSILANTI – More than 100 regional and national venture capital firms will be represented June 17-18 at the 2014 Michigan Growth Capital Symposium. Registration remains open.

The Michigan Growth Capital Symposium is the premier Midwest networking event for leaders in venture capital investment. The event introduces early stage and emerging growth companies seeking funding to U.S. investors. In the past decade (2004-2013), the Symposium has introduced nearly 350 companies to investors and those companies have gone on to raise more than $1.3 billion in capital.

More than 400 entrepreneurs, investment professionals and executives will be attending the Symposium on June 17-18. In addition to company presentations to investors, the two-day event program will feature a keynote address from Exact Sciences’ Kevin Conroy and five panel discussions.

?Michigan is a hotspot for talented entrepreneurs to start and grow their companies, and GiveNext is no exception,? said David J. Brophy, MGCS founder and director and professor of finance at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. ?Across the nation and the world, entrepreneurs and VC companies are turning their attention to the Midwest.?
