LANSING ? The Small Business Association of Michigan has named Lori J. Birman as the organization?s Vice President of Membership & Development. Most recently, Birman was Director of Membership and Planned Gifts for the Engineering Society of Detroit.
Birman will be responsible for planning and managing implementation of membership growth strategies, sponsorships, advertising and advocacy fundraising. She has a B.A. in Communications from Michigan State University and is a Certified Association Executive as recognized by the American Society of Association Executives.
