BIRMINGHAM ? Kirk Ziehm has joined venture capital firm Seneca Partners as Senior Associate. He will be based in Seneca’s Bannockburn, Illinois office.
“Kirk’s range of experiences will be a great addition to the Seneca team. He will bring excellent insights to our clients and portfolio companies as an advisor and consultant,” says Rajesh Kothari, Managing Director of Seneca Partners.
Ziehm brings nearly ten years of investment banking, management consulting, and operations experience to Seneca Partners. Prior to joining Seneca, Kirk was an Associate in investment banking with Merrill Lynch in New York where he worked on transactions in the retail industry.
Previously, he served as a Management Consultant with Kurt Salmon Associates, a retail, consumer products, and healthcare specialty consulting firm. He also served as an Operations Process Engineer at Kinko’s Corporate Office where he developed and implemented store operational improvements.
Ziehm earned an M.B.A. with high honors in finance, accounting, and economics from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and was selected as a Siebel Scholar for outstanding academic achievement and leadership. He graduated cum laude with his B.S. in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan.
