BLOOMFIELD HILLS ? Serial entrepreneur Rick Inatome will moderate a panel discussion Nov. 7 at the next Great Lakes Angels meeting which will be focused on due diligence – how to create sustainable competitive advantage through culture based process to drive returns.
As private equity firms have attracted much larger pools of capital the environment for producing consistent returns has become both more competitive and complex. Simple value-add formula’s like financial engineering, industry niche specialization or top-grading management as vehicles to produce competitive returns have become tired and played out. This session will explore a case study using specific scalable based process to redefine a portfolio company’s cultural foundation as a more consistent driver to enhanced investor results.
Panelists include ? Herb Amster (Founder Irwin Magnetics), Kurt Riegger (North Coast Technology Investors), Raj Kothari (Seneca Partners), and Mike Gibson (Kerr, Russell and Weber).
The event will be held at a private venue in Detroit. Specifics will be shared with those accredited investors from Michigan, Ohio and Ontario if they register early. Registration deadline is Nov. 3.
