LANSING – Governor Rick Snyder’s re-election campaign has put up a new website that his campaign said will allow Michigan residents to see how the state has improved since Snyder took office.

Following the “Road to Recovery” theme outlined in Snyder’s campaign ad released Monday, the RoadToRecovery.RickforMichigan.Com website urges visitors to take a drive on the road to recovery in Michigan.

Visitors can click on links to different regions and see photos of the area with statistics about how changes have occurred posted on the outlines of traffic signs.

For example, in the Thumb region, the website says there are 5.67 percent more jobs in the region from January 2012 to December 2013. The site also says there have been 4.3 percent fewer crime incidents, the value of agriculture in the region has increased by 80 percent, and there are 7.5 percent fewer high school dropouts.
