LANSING – A spokesperson for Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Snyder said Monday that Snyder’s plan remains to seek repeal of the Michigan Business Tax and replace it with a 6 percent tax on corporate profits.
The Detroit News reported Monday that Snyder had classified the 6 percent rate as a “goal” not his firm proposal. On Monday, Snyder spokesperson Bill Nowling said Snyder is “very committed” to the 6 percent rate.
