ANN ARBOR ? The supporters of GOP gubernatorial candidate Rick Snyder who voted on his web site for the “Grindstone” advertisement will reap their reward Wednesday.

That’s when the ad is scheduled to begin airing statewide and run for more than a week, said Snyder campaign spokesperson Jake Suski.

Snyder launched a contest on his web site to have supporters vote for which of two ads should run next for the campaign. “Grindstone” received 51 percent to 49 percent for “Superman.” Both ads continue with his “One Tough Nerd” theme.

“Only a nerd with an entrepreneurial, job creating background knows how to reinvent Michigan,” Snyder said in the winning spot.
