KALAMAZOO ? In December, the Southwest Michigan Innovation Center will host John Vogel, a recognized expert in contract research organizations, part of a two-day Life Sciences conference.
The program includes a reception, individual company workshops and a half-day lecture to more than 100 industry leaders from across the Midwest. A half-day seminar on Outsourcing in the Life Science Industry will be held at the M-Tec Auditorium in Kalamazoo, which also will host a networking breakfast.
Company?s interested in meeting one-on-one with Vogel will be provided the opportunity on Dec. 8. Thirty minute sessions will be offered at the rate of $195. These seminars will be of interest to companies which utilize contract research organizations and need to qualify CRO vendors and equally important from CROs interested in learning about the business issues from their customer?s perspective.
Although focused on the life science industry the seminar will have implications on outsourcing independent of the industry.
Vogel, a Ph.D., is a drug development consultant who works with the pharmaceutical industry and the pharmaceutical services industry to enhance results achieved through outsourcing. Clients include most of the major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the U.S. and abroad as well as a wide variety of contract research organizations, site management organizations, academic research organizations and investigators.
