DETROIT ? Wayne State University’s TechTown will disclose the details of its Thrive business accelerator model during its monthly First Friday networking event Nov. 5 at NextEnergy.
“Over the summer, we purposefully turned everything upside down, setting aside the success we’ve experienced with training hundreds of entrepreneurs through programs such as SmartStart and FastTrac,” said General Manager Leslie Smith. “One question guided our thinking: how can we create an experience that empowers entrepreneurs at every level to thrive?”
Thrive breaks apart the entrepreneurial journey by experience level and stage of growth to offer targeted, best-in-class resources designed to deliver the greatest impact to both startup entrepreneurs and those who may be just a strategy or two away from launching Michigan’s next big idea.
