DETROIT – While other automakers at the North American International Auto show proudly displayed their latest hybrid gasoline-electric powered vehicles, or concept plug-in electric cars and trucks, California-based manufacturer Tesla Motors showed off its electric-powered Rodster that can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in around 3 seconds and travel more than 250 miles on a single charge.
