GRANDVILLE – Trivalent Group on Tuesday announced Tuesday it has acquired
The Grand Rapids-based IT firm iQ Consulting, Inc. No terms were announced.
Established in 2001, iQ Consulting is a full service technology firm specializing in Microsoft and Novell products and technology and planning, design and implementation of IT solutions. iQ Consulting�??s customer base will now become part of the Trivalent network further expanding Trivalent�??s product and service portfolio. The agreement enables Trivalent to increase its presence statewide and marks the $20 million company�??s seventh acquisition since 2003.

The recent acquisition is part of Trivalent Group�??s long-term growth strategy. Between 2003 and 2004, the five-year-old firm acquired six technology companies throughout Michigan, including ACCN, CD&H Support Services, Entre, Reiughes, Remex Systems Group, and the original Trivalent. Today, Trivalent�??s team of more than 65 professionals serves more than 1,000 small, medium and large businesses statewide. Headquartered in Grandville, the company also has offices in Mt. Pleasant and Kalamazoo.
