GRANDVILLE ? Trivalent Group has launched Trivalent WiMAX, a product that backs up business networks when they go down.
“Just one hour of network outage can seriously affect a company’s productivity, resulting in financial loss and diminished customer good will,” said Trivalent Group Communications Sales Director Joe Tuszynski. “WiMAX offers businesses with an affordable backup option that will reduce the impact of a network outage and provide ownership with more peace of mind. Trivalent is excited to add another new technology to our growing list of cost-effective services.”
Trivalent’s wireless technology is immediately activated when a company’s primary wired link goes down, reducing the impact of a network outage. WiMAX offers point-to-point and Internet-based designs that will seamlessly integrate into an organization?s existing environment.
Pricing for Trivalent WiMAX begins at $65 per month. Currently, the product is available only in select areas, including Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Grandville, Holland, Jenison, Kentwood, Norton Shores, Spring Lake, Walker, Wyoming, Zeeland, and Ferrysburg.
In other news, Trivalent Group recently joined the Microsoft Partner Research Panel, a new component of the Microsoft Partner Network. The panel, which is open to a limited number of Microsoft partners, allows members to help shape new products and programs by participating in ongoing research studies with Microsoft.
Trivalent Group selected Mark Hepinstall, virtual chief information officer, to represent the company on the MSPRP.
?We felt that this was an excellent opportunity for Mark to participate given his great technical perspective and many years of experience in consulting,? said John Hey, Trivalent Group senior vice president. ?This opportunity not only showcases Trivalent as a top-tier partner with Microsoft, but also allows us to have strategic input into the company on a regular basis.
