GRAND RAPIDS – The new Van Andel Institute Graduate School will kick off the inaugural school year with a ceremonial gathering of scholars on Aug. 20 that honors students and faculty and signals the beginning of the academic year.

The ceremony will introduce faculty and the school?s pioneering students, and include remarks by VAI CEO David Van Andel, VAI Graduate School Dean Steven J. Triezenberg, and keynote speaker Keith Yamamoto, Professor, Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology, and Executive Vice Dean, School of Medicine University of California San Francisco.
