TROY – Venture Forward, an intensive ten-week program that uses the FastTrac GrowthVenture learning system, is now accepting enrollments applications for the program that starts Sept. 12.
The program, presented by the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center, also includes MI-SBTDC counseling and research support to help entrepreneurs evaluate their business issues and opportunities, while developing an action plan for increased sales and profit.
Venture Forward is sponsored by the Oakland CRA Association, Best Bank, the Oakland County Business Center, and the NAWBO of Greater Detroit.
The program helps business owners learn several business development skills including how to:
Develop an overall business strategy for growth.
Achieve a strong, competitive market position.
Plan financial needs to avoid cash flow problems.
Structure operations for improved efficiency.
Determine whether a company has the right people to get the job done.

There are 10 Friday sessions starting September 12 through November 14 with program times of 8:30-11:30 a.m. Cost is $250, which is reduced from the normal fee of $495 fee thanks to the sponsors.
