AUBURN HILLS – There is still time to enroll in a new business program presented by the Michigan Small Business & Technology Center that starts April 4 and runs through June 13.

Venture Forward, an intensive, ten-week program that utilizes the highly acclaimed FastTrac GrowthVenture learning system along with MI-SBTDC counseling and research support to help entrepreneurs evaluate their business issues and opportunities, while developing an action plan for increased sales and profit.

Venture Forward is sponsored by the Oakland CRA Association and The Oakland County Business Center, and the NAWBO Greater Detroit.

The program helps business owners learn several useful business development skills including how to:

? Develop an overall business strategy for growth.

? Achieve a strong, competitive market position.

? Plan financial needs to avoid cash flow problems.

? Structure operations for improved efficiency.

? Determine whether a company has the right people to get the job done.

There will be 10 Friday sessions starting April 4 through June 13 with program times of 8:30-11:30 a.m. Cost is $250, which is reduced from the normal fee of $495 fee thanks to the sponsors.
