TROY – Walsh College’s Take Charge educational workshops have been so successful that another round of sessions are being offered in April and May. The workshops range from one-day to four-week sessions. Each attendee receives a certificate of attendance. Spaces are limited and registration is required.
In January, Walsh College announced it was offering workshops for workers in transition. A tremendous response from the community resulted and the workshop sessions filled up in just four days.
“As a leader in the business community and advocate of business growth in Michigan, Walsh College is offering these workshops to assist Michigan workers who are in transition with their job search,” said Stephanie Bergeron, president and chief executive officer. “We also want to offer them paths to begin and pursue new careers in business, particularly by focusing on fields with growing demand.”
Walsh College faculty came forward with the idea to volunteer their time and resources to offer the workshops, Bergeron said. “We recognize that our workforce is one of Michigan’s greatest strengths, and we want to do our best to help workers who are in transition navigate this journey.”
Spaces are limited per workshop, and registration is required. For more information, click on WalshCollege.Edu/takecharge
