TROY – Greg Auner, Director of Wayne State University’s College of Engineering’s Smart Sensor and Integrated Microsystems will discuss the emerging smart sensors and devices for automotive and energy markets on Jan. 16 at Automation Alley.
Auner will present complex projects that go beyond the limits of current technology to spur original ideas and shape new avenues of investigation.
He expands on smart-transformers that alert power companies when they need repair or replacement, micro fuel cells that generate great power to miniature devices and electronics that can withstand high temperatures and other extreme environments demanded by arising technologies.
The program is scheduled from 8 to 10 am at Automation Alley?s headquarters, 2675 Bellingham. There is no cost to attend.
