CLARKSTON – We Build Character has partnered with the Michigan Council of Women in Technology to provide its Elevate Leadership Mentoring Program as part of MCWT’s annual mentoring program.
The MCWT mentoring program is a benefit to all current members. We Build Character will complement it with an experiential model of leadership development, networking opportunities and a community give-back project.
?The work of MCWT is critically important to the future of women in the IT industry,? said Donna Ventimiglia, Executive Director of We Build Character. ?We look forward to contributing to these efforts not only by our support of MCWT, but through this Leadership Mentoring Program. This collaboration supports our commitment to embracing initiatives that build our community.?
We Build Character?s Elevate Leadership Mentoring Program will bring together Mentors who will work one-on-one with MCWT participants over the course of the year. The program includes a leadership curriculum with exercises delivered virtually to accommodate the hectic schedules of program participants.
?MCWT?s mentoring program is a great value-added perk to joining our organization,? said Maru Flores, Vice President of Membership for MCWT. ?To date, we?ve matched 180 Mentors and Mentees together to help foster and guide career development. Integrating We Build Character allows us to further strengthen and enhance our members? mentoring experience.?
