INKSTER – Wolverine Advanced Materials LLC on Monday said it has named Jim Ding as engineering manager of noise, vibration and
harshness/noise, shock and vibration application development.
“Jim?s NVH computer-aided engineering (CAE), experimental abilities,
application solution experience and project management skills will provide a
valuable technical leadership role in achieving our growth targets,? said
Director of Technology Christopher Griffen. The company is owned by EaglePicher Company and supplies rubber-coated steel
composites for vibration damping and sealing solutions.
Ding brings 17 years of expertise in structural dynamics and vibro-acoustic
engineering development. Previously, Ding was NVH manager with TMD
Friction. His previous experience also includes principle engineering work
at SANLUIS Rassini and aerospace work at Roush Anatrol.
He earned a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a M.S. in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and is currently pursuing his
Ph.D. He lives in Canton with his wife and two children.
