DETROIT – Women business professionals looking for financial survival skills geared specifically to their needs can attend the Women’s Economic Survival NAWBO U Workshop, presented by NAWBO/EXCEL and National Association of Women Business Owners of Greater Detroit on April 2 at the Troy Community Center located.
Detroiter Gail Perry-Mason, first vice president of investments for Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., will share solutions for surviving 2009. Perry-Mason has 18 years of experience focusing on socially responsible investing, which she has extensively shared through her writing, teaching and speaking engagements to national audiences. Her current book, �??Girl, Make Your Money Grow,�?� co-written with Glinda Bridgforth is currently a national bestseller.
This NAWBO U money boot camp will cover several critical 2009 financial survival skills �?? from organizing financial records to creative solutions for protecting one�??s assets. During this three-hour interactive seminar, participants will learn how to:
