SANTA CLARA, CA ? As the Women in Technology International Group prepares for its 25th anniversary in June, the group announced the 2014 Women in Technology Hall of Fame Honorees.

The awards were created in 1996 to recognize, honor, and promote the outstanding contributions women make to the technical community. The recipients will be acknowledged for their efforts to improve and evolve our society while demonstrating a commitment to supporting and mentoring women and girls world wide.

The five distinguished recipients of this year’s Women in Technology Hall of Fame Awards are:

Orna Berry, Ph.D., Corporate Vice President, Growth and Innovation, EMC Centers of Excellence EMEA and the US, EMC Corporation

Ms. Jennifer Pahlka, Founder and Executive Director, Code for America

Ms. Kim Polese, Chairman, ClearStreet, Inc.

Ms. Kris Rinne, Senior Vice President, Network & Product Planning, AT&T Services, Inc.

Ms. Lauren C. States, Vice President, Strategy and Transformation, IBM Software Group, IBM Corporation
