SOUTHFIELD ? The Michigan Council of Women in Technology is hosting its Connect-Net Networking Forum on Dec. 14 ? Holiday Helps: Networking Tips, Connect-Net Review and Cookie Exchange.
During the last event of 2010, the presenter will help you match your professional and social style with specific networking techniques. You’ll also learn about network resource diagrams and how to utilize yours to increase networking success and overcome common stumbling blocks.
This session will also include a discussion on what worked and what can be improved for Connect-Net forums in 2011. MCWT would also like your opinion on topics and speakers that have the greatest impact. The team is open to all ideas to make Connect-Net even better next year.
The evening will commence with a cookie exchange. To participate, bake
five dozen cookies (wrapped individually by dozen) to exchange with
others. You’ll be able to cut down on your holiday baking workload and increase variety.
Time: 6-8 PM. Registration starts at 5:30 PM.
Place: Lawrence Technological University, 21000 W. 10 Mile Road, Southfield. Room T410/UTLC ? Technology and Learning Center.
